This Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktail is a fall twist on your favorite spritz. The citrusy non alcoholic aperol, sweet apple cider, and aromatics from fresh rosemary and a cinnamon stick garnish makes this the perfect drink.

Try serving it with my Pumpkin Pasta Bake and a slice of Apple Spice Cake for dessert. This trio brings together all the warm, comforting flavors that make fall so special.

I’m an Aperol Spritz fan all year long, and this fall I couldn’t help but give it a seasonal makeover. This one’s got apple cider from the orchard, fresh rosemary, and a cinnamon stick to give all those cozy fall vibes.

But what makes this mocktail special is that it’s built like a real cocktail, not just a bunch of fruit juices thrown together. I’m using non-alcoholic Aperol and a dash of aromatic bitters to keep that signature bitter-sweet complexity that makes a spritz actually interesting. So if you’re skipping alcohol or just want something delicious to sip on this fall, give it a try.

And if you’re a year-round spritz fan like I am, try my classic summer Aperol Spritz Mocktail, winter Amaretto Spritz Mocktail, and spring Sparkling Lavender Mocktail.

Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktail Ingredients

Here’s everything you will need to make this fall mocktail, and a few important notes too.

  • Apple Cider: If you can, support your local cider mill. It will taste better and use the freshest apples too.
  • Sparkling Water: It adds the perfect amount of carbonation to brighten things up. You can also use a club soda, mineral water, tonic water, or other complementing flavored sparkling water.
  • Non Alcoholic Aperol: I recommend Italian Spritz from Lyre’s, because it tastes most like Aperol, in my opinion.
  • Non Alcoholic Orange Bitters: All The Bitter is my go to (get 10% off by using my code ENTIRELY10). I prefer the Orange Bitters, but Aromatic Bitters are great if you like those spiced flavors.
  • Garnish: I recommend fresh rosemary and a cinnamon stick. As you sip you can smell their aromatics which makes this even more festive and delicious.

How to Make a Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktail

This fall mocktail is so simple to make, just pour, garnish, stir and sip! Don’t forget to grab stemless or stemmed wine glasses, it’s what spritzes are typically served in.

1. Pour in the apple cider, sparkling water, non alcoholic aperol, and dash of aromatic butters to an ice filled wine glass.

2. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and cinnamon stick. Be sure to stir your mocktail (with the cinnamon stick) before sipping.

Party Perfect Tips

Whether you’re making this for yourself, hosting a small fall themed dinner or large Thanksgiving celebration, these tips will help you serve this Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktail elegantly and like a pro.

Rim the glass with cinnamon sugar. This is completely optional, but the cinnamon sugar rim is a really nice fall touch. Just dip the rim of your glass in some apple cider, then immediately dip it again into a cinnamon sugar mixture (2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon).

Make two versions for your party. There’s always that person at the party who scrunches their nose at the non alcoholic drinks. You can easily grab a bottle of alcoholic aperol and still use my recipe for friends and family that may want the boozy option.

What To Serve With A Fall Spritz

If you’re looking for festive appetizers and hand-held hors d’oeuvres to include with your Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktails, here are a few of my very favorite. They’re fall themed and pair great with this.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Can this Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Mocktail be made ahead of time?

No, it will lose carbonation and taste flat unfortunately. But keep in mind, this mocktail takes only minutes to make and doesn’t require any fancy bar equipment. Making them as you are wanting to serve them is the way to go.
