This homemade Sriracha Aioli sauce is spicy, garlicky, and super creamy. It is easy to make, has an endless amount of uses, and it tastes way better than the store-bought stuff.

Did I mention it mixes up in just 2 minutes? You heard me right! That’s faster than you can find it at the grocery store.

Let me tell you, this Sriracha Aioli Sauce is so dang addicting. The sweet tang with fresh garlic and smoky chili notes is great on roasted vegetables, dipping chicken wings in, on sandwiches, burgers, and tacos. But what really makes all the difference is the homemade quality.

When you make it from scratch, you’re getting clean ingredients without artificial preservatives, seed oils, or mystery additives that lurk in store-bought versions. Plus, you have complete control over the heat level by adjusting the sriracha sauce and fresh garlic to your liking… And it’s cheaper too!

What is Sriracha Aioli?

Sometimes it’s called sriracha mayo, spicy mayo, or even spicy aioli. It’s a super creamy, zippy, and slightly spicy sauce made with mostly mayonnaise and sriracha sauce, plus a few other ingredients.

And if you’re wondering, sriracha is a combination of cayenne peppers, red jalapeno peppers, and garlic. It adds unbelievable flavor and a smooth (not taste bud burning) heat.

Sriracha Aioli Ingredients

Here’s everything you will need to make this spicy aioli recipe and a few important notes too. Keep reading!

  • MAYONNAISE: Use your favorite or try my homemade Avocado Oil Mayonnaise. Just make sure you’re not usinga sweet spread like Miracle Whip.
  • SRIRACHA SAUCE: I use Sky Valley brand because it has a great balance of flavor and spice without being too spicy (which I love). Feel free to use what you like, just keep in mind some sauces are spicier than others so you may have to alter the amount used.
  • LIME JUICE: Freshly squeezed lime juice tastes the best. Lemon juice can be used in it’s place but it will bring more acidity to your sauce.
  • FRESH GARLIC: Finely minced or grated clove so you do not get a big spicy bite of garlic. I do not recommend substituting garlic powder, the flavor just isn’t there.
  • SALT: This is going to help cut through the acidity (don’t skip this).
Ingredients. Mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, fresh lime juice, grated garlic clove, and salt.

1. MIX TOGETHER mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, freshly grated garlic and salt in a small bowl. Pour into an airtight glass jar or container.

Storing Information

Like I said in the instructions above, you should store your Sriracha Aioli Sauce in an airtight container and in the refrigerator. I prefer storing mine in a wide-mouth glass jar so it’s easier to scoop out.

It should also be kept in the refrigerator for about a month. Technically it has the same life as the mayonnaise used (so check it’s expiration date). And always check the sauce prior to using for mold spores and a foul smell.

Spice Things Up With This Sauce

I don’t think we have enough time to list ALL the things this Sriracha Aioli Sauce tastes good on! But, it goes great with everything from proteins to vegetables to starches, and beyond. Here are a few of my favorite ways to use it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How spicy is this sriracha aioli?

Sriracha aioli gets it’s spicy punch from not only the sriracha sauce, but the freshly grated garlic as well. The spice level will vary depending on the brand and spice level of sriracha sauce you choose to use. I use Sky Valley sriracha sauce in this recipe. It is the perfect amount of spice without overwhelming your taste buds.

Is sriracha aioli the same thing as sriracha mayo?

Yes. Both sriracha aioli and sriracha mayo are made using the same ingredients and are prepared in the same manner. They are used interchangeably.
