This homemade Lavender Simple Syrup is the perfect balance of floral and sweet. With no dyes or preservatives, it tastes better than anything you could get at the store.
To a small saucepan add the sugar or allulose, water, and lavender buds. Over high heat, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil. Once boiling, allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat, cover the saucepan with its lid, and allow the syrup to steep for 15 minutes.
Strain away the lavender buds using a fine mesh strainer, and pour the Lavender Simple Syrup into a container. Cool completely before using and refrigerating.

RECIPE NOTES
Use it in lemonade, cocktails or mocktails, tea, and even coffee based drinks like lattes or cold brew. It compliments flavors like lemon, orange, blueberry, strawberry, honey, vanilla, and even ginger.
I use 2 tablespoons in my drinks, but recommend adding one tablespoon at a time and taste-testing before adding more.
