1ounceraw honey - or light agave, maple syrup, simple syrup, blueberry syrup, or blueberry preserves
2 - 4ouncessparkling water - or club soda, tonic water
garnish - fresh blueberries, mint leaves, a lemon wedge
INSTRUCTIONS
To a glass add fresh blueberries, mint leaves, raw honey, and lemon juice. Muddle until aromatic and the blueberries have released all of their juices.
Add a handful of ice to the glass and top it off with sparkling water. Stir with a long handled spoon or stirrer until combined.
Garnish with fresh blueberries, a lemon slice, and more fresh mint (clap the mint over top of the glass to release oils and aroma). Serve or sip!

RECIPE NOTES
Frozen blueberries can be used in place of fresh. Opt for organic, wild blueberries, they are going to be the sweetest, juiciest, and most vibrant.
Optional non alcoholic spirits you can add. I recommend non alcoholic gin, rum, tequila, champagne, or a sweet rose wine with these flavors.
