If you're looking for a super chocolatey puppy chow, this recipe is for you. We swap out peanut butter for Nutella to make this addicting, 4 ingredient snack.
1cupNutella hazelnut spread - or peanut butter for classic puppy chow
3cupsrice squares cereal
3cupscorn squares cereal
1 ½cupspowdered sugar - confectioner's sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Add rice squares cereal and corn squares cereal to a large container, set aside.
Melt together the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and Nutella hazelnut spread, either in the microwave or on the stove-top in a double boiler, until smooth and fully incorporated.
Pour the melted Nutella chocolate mixture over the cereal. Either stir with a spatula or place top on the container and shake vigorously.
Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes (or 5 minutes in the refrigerator). It shouldn't be warm, but it also shouldn't be hardened.
Add half of the powdered sugar, place top on the container, shake. Allow it to cool for 10 more minutes (or 5 minutes in the refrigerator).
Add the remaining powdered sugar, place top on the container, shake again until the Nutella Puppy Chow is well coated and ready to eat.
