8ouncescream cheese - softened to room temperature
4ounceswhipped cream - Cool Whip or homemade
1cuppowdered sugar
20ouncesapple pie filling - *
1cupcaramel - room temperature
½cuplightly salted peanuts
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium sized bowl whip together the softened cream cheese, whipped cream (Cool Whip), and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes).
Into a serving dish, spread out the cream cheese mixture.
Top with apple pie filling.
Top with caramel.
Sprinkle peanuts over the top and refrigerate for 30 minutes to overnight.
Serve cold with dippers.

I do not recommend freezing this Caramel Apple Pie Dip
Most people take a larger serving size so you may need to double the recipe. It makes 4 cups of dip which will feed 16 people (a 1/4 cup serving each). Doubling the recipe will feed 30-32 people and tripling 46-48 people.
Using a large shallow serving dish. Layered dips serve so much better this way and everyone gets everything in the dip.
Have at least 3 varieties of dippers, if not more, and make sure they are different in texture and flavor.
