Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray donut pan with non-stick cooking spray. Whisk together sour cream, granular sugar, brown sugar, unsalted butter, egg, vanilla extract. Fold in the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt.
Place batter in a piping bag with a 1/2 inch hole cut in one of the tips. Pipe the batter into each cavity filling them 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
Mix together the vanilla glaze, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, hot water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Dip the doughnuts into the glaze and allow to dry and harden. Eat!
